We are antique dealers specializing in antique and vintage eyewear. We have frames in stock that range in age from 1550 to 1965. We supply authentic period frames for use in films and on stage, for use by re-enactors (French and Indian War, American Revolution, and Civil War) and to museums and collectors. We supply optical shops that offer a selection of vintage frames to their customers and, sell to individuals who want the distinctive look that vintage frames provide.

We Buy entire collections, old store stocks, warehouse salvage, estate auction lots, and individual frames by noted designers and frames made from solid gold. We will travel extensively to purchase rare spectacles made between 1400 and 1727. We actively seek antique frames made between 1727 and 1833. We are the largest buyers in the world for antique eyeglasses made between 1833 and 1965. No warehouse lot, store stock, or collection is too large for our needs. Our current inventory numbers more than 17,000 antique and vintage frames.

We wholesale useable, but less than perfect, frames to re-platers and refurbishers. Please contact us for prices (lots of 100 pair or more).

We resell only vintage frames that are in mint, like new, and excellent condition. The exception to this policy is antique frames made before 1700. Many such frames are so rare that examples that are less than perfect are acceptable to museums and collectors.

Current Catalogue:You may request copies of our current catalogue by style. We have several dozen catalogues available by email. Our catalogues are sorted by period and type. For example, 18th Century, 19th Century, Civil War, 20th Century, plastic frames, wire rim frames, rimless and semi-rimless frames, and so on. Type the period or style on the subject line.
