Semi-Rimless Eyeglasses

Semi-Rimless: A variant of the rimless frame is a style commonly referred to as Semi-Rimless. This style has a wire above or behind the top part of the lens. This style was introduced around 1921 and remained popular well into the 1960's.

The saddle bridge began to loose popularity in the 1920's.
