They are stamped 14k. These frames were made by J. Stone, Optician Charleston, MA. They belonged to Lydia Whittier, born 1801, cousin of the Poet, John Greenleaf Whittier.
The left lens is inscribed "R W to L W"

They measure 4 inches wide
Temple length is 5 inches.
