An unusual pair of binocular spectacles made by Carl Zeiss.
The frames are marked "Carl Zeiss, Jena".
The binocular appear to be made to a common strength.
A lens cap fitted over the small lens adjust the strength to a specific user.
In this case the right lens is a -1.50. The left lens is a -1.00.
I must remove these two caps to make the binoculars work for me.
I believe these binoculars were designed for bird watching
or viewing other objects at a distance.
The nose rest and nose pads can be adjusted to position the lenses for the user.
