Fancy made quizzing glasses were popular in England for most of the 19th Century. This example is gold filled and probably dates around 1860. The lens is cracked. However, the lens can easily be changed should one desire to do so. The quizzing glass is in excellent condition. Very little of the gold filling has worn away.
