18th Century Custom Made Spectacles

A finely made pair of early spectacles. The right lens is extremely strong and the lens can be blocked by moving a metal plate. The frames are made from coin silver and have several hallmarks. The frames are also stamped T.D which is probably the mark of the maker. The spectacles are in excellent condition.
They come in a Mother of Pearl case. The case is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The hinge is tight and the latch mechanizm works well.
The brass tab that holds the hinge can be removed.
